TBF Mid Atlantic Division Championship Day 2

West Virginia extended their state team lead today by almost 33 pounds as their two day total sits at 228-04 pounds. New Jersey’s two day total of 195-03 lbs moved them to 2nd Place and Pennsylvania’s two day total vaulted them into 3rd Pl.
Two anglers tied, for the largest bag of the day with 14-10 lbs. Brian LaClair of DE and Jason Wiseman of DC a Corey Cook - WVeach had a nice sack of smallmouth to show for their efforts today.
Chris Napier of VA had the 3rd largest sack with 14-05 pounds.
Cory Cook of WV was next with a limit that weighed 14-03 lbs. With that weight, Cory became the overall Tournament Leader with 28-10 lbs. after 2 days of competition.
Day one leader Daniel Gray, of DC, shifts to 2nd Pl with 28-05 lbs. Brian LaClair of DE is third with 27-12 lbs.
The fish did not bite as well on the second day, as they did on Wednesday. However, Mike Renshaw –VA had the big bass for Thursday with a nice 5-00 lb smallmouth.
b Mike Renshaw - VAEach state will advance their top two anglers from their twelve man team, to the National Championship next spring. With one day left nearly all seven states still have numerous anglers who are within striking distance of the top two weights on their team. It should be a shoot out on the final day tomorrow.
