Founder of the Tennessee Bass Federation Passes Away

Bob Big Fish 2009 001Ponca City, Okla., (December 3, 2013) – Bob Agnew from Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away Sunday night. Agnew was the founder and first president of the Tennessee Bass Federation from 1973 to 1975, and a longtime member of TBF’s first club, the Chattanooga Bass Club, still club number 001. He was also a current member of Hixson Memorial Bass Club.

Agnew competed in many Tennessee state tournaments and was still actively fishing club events. He was always recognized at those events. His impact on the Tennessee Bass Federation as well as the nation federation will not be forgotten, and his presence will truly be missed.
