Washington High School Fishing State Championship Set For July 1

PONCA CITY, Okla. (June 7, 2012) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW Outdoors, and the Washington Bass Federation announced it will host the 2012 Student Angler Federation (SAF) Washington High School Fishing State Championship. The event will be held Sunday, July 1 on Columbia River launching out of Columbia Point Marina Park, Richland, Wash. 

The championship is a two person team event for students in grades 9-12. Registration for anglers and their “coach,” who will provide the boat they compete in, is online at HighSchoolFishing.org. Check-in begins at 7pm PST on Saturday, June 30, at the Columbia Point Marina Park launch area with a mandatory rules briefing at 8pm. Collins & Alabama State Team Lead After Day 1 of Southern Division Championship, presented by Ranger Boats

6/6/12 – Okeechobee waters were little rough on our boaters today with storms that moved through early and made the water a little choppy, but it didn’t stop the boys in the Southern Division from bringing big bags and big fish to the scales. State teams came from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee and South Carolina  to compete for the top two spots within their state to move on to the 2013 TBF National Championship next spring. TBF DREAM TEAM RALLY SET FOR GEORGIAN BAY, ONTARIO, JUNE 26

Ponca City, Okla. (June 6, 2012) — The Bass Federation’s brand new Dream Team Rally tournament trail is excited to announce the Canada Bass Angler’s Federation, (CBAF) of Ontario is scheduled to host the first TBF Dream Team Rally event held in Canada.  The event is scheduled for June 26, 2012 on Georgian Bay, at Penetang Harbour in Penetanguishene, Ontario.  The CBAF Dream Team event is open to ALL TBF members, and non-TBF members wanting to join.  Interested teams can go online at bassfederation.com; Dream Team; to enter, the tourney # is 1028.  ALL interested TBF clubs and state federations can go online and register to host their own event today! Iowa High School Fishing State Championship Set For July 1

PONCA CITY, Okla. (June 6, 2012) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW Outdoors, and the University of Iowa Bass Fishing Team will host the 2012 Student Angler Federation (SAF) Iowa High School Fishing State Championship. The event will be held Sunday, July 1 on Pool 19 of the Mississippi River in Burlington, Iowa.

The championship is a two person team event for students in grades 9-12. Registration for anglers and their “coach,” who will provide the boat they compete in, is online at HighSchoolFishing.org. Check-in begins Sunday, July 1 at 5am CST at the Port of Burlington launch ramp.  A rules briefing will immediately follow before the anglers launch at first light.  We highly encourage all teams to preregister online or by phone in advance to avoid late registration fees.
