Huntsville, AL – November 30, 2015 — T-H Marine Supplies, Inc., of Huntsville, Alabama, announces the acquisition of the assets of HydroWave, LLC of Carrollton, Texas. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. HydroWave designs, manufactures, and sells a patented line of marine sound technology devices that attract fish for anglers.

T-H Marine’s president, Jeff Huntley, stated “We are very pleased to announce the acquisition of the HydroWave assets. We are also proud that we will retain several key HydroWave employees and have entered into a multi-year consulting agreement with HydroWave founder, Gene Eisenmann. Huntley said that the HydroWave assets and people are relocating to T-H Marine headquarters in Huntsville, AL, where all future assembly and shipping of the product will occur. Within one week of this closing, HydroWave will be fully functioning as a brand at T-H Marine.

Bass Fishing & Toys for Tots

On Saturday, November 14 TBF of South Carolina hosted our 6th annual “Mr. Lake Murray” open bass tournament. This year we decided to do something a little different. We seem to be getting later in the year with this event, closer to the holidays. So this year we teamed up with the U.S. Marines “Toys for Tots” program. Each angler was asked to bring a new unwrapped toy to registration that morning or make a cash donation. Our anglers came through for us showing their generosity. Over $350 was raised along with a good pile of toys. It’s always a great feeling to be able to give something back to our community and be able to show that our organization is about more than just fishing. As far as the fishing, Lake Murray did not disappoint either. The winning team of Neil and Tim Huffstefler brought in a 5 bass limit weighing 22.75 lbs, which included the Big Bass of the tournament at 6.34 lbs. We at TBF of South Carolina look forward to working with our Marines again next year and hope to do more for our armed forces and community in the future.

PONCA CITY, Okla. (November 17, 2015) – The Future Fisherman Foundation announced today its annual online auction is scheduled for November 30-December 7. The auction will once again boast an impressive lineup of outdoor products and guided fresh and saltwater fishing trips.

This year’s event is headlined by a half day fishing trip with Forrest Wood Cup $Million Dollar Winner, Scott Suggs and reigning Classic Champion and Quantum Pro, Casey Ashley, plus lunch with Ranger Boats founder, Forrest L. Wood. They all offered to support the event that powers programs like Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs, and now interested bidders have a chance at once in a lifetime trips with fishing royalty!
